Liability (Farm and Personal) cover provides cover for Your legal liability to pay compensation for, Personal Injury and/or Property Damage and/or Your Products as a result of an Occurrence.
Under Section 5 ” Public & Products Liability” you are insured for things like:
1) Public liability
If your Home Building is covered, we will cover You and any member of Your Family for all amounts You or any member of Your Family become legally liable to pay as Compensation for:
a) the death of or Personal Injury to any person;
b) loss of or damage to property; As a result of an Occurrence arising out of the ownership or occupancy of Your Home Building happening during the Period of Insurance up to the Limit of Liability shown in Your Schedule.
If your Home Contents are covered, we will cover You and any member of Your Family for all amounts You or any member of Your Family become legally liable to pay as Compensation for Personal Injury and/or Property Damage as a result of an Occurrence other than relating to the ownership or occupancy of Your Home Building happening during the Period of Insurance and within the Geographical Limit up to the Limit of Liability shown in Your Schedule.
Your Farming Business
We will cover You for all amounts You become legally liable to pay as Compensation for Personal Injury and/or Property Damage as a result of an Occurrence in connection with Your Farming Business happening during the Period of Insurance and within the Geographical Limit, up to the Limit of Liability shown in Your Schedule.
2) Products Liability
We will cover You for all amounts You become legally liable to pay as Compensation for Personal Injury and/or Property Damage caused by Your Products as a result of an Occurrence:
a) in connection with Your Farming Business;
b) happening away from Your Farm and after physical possession of such Products has been passed to others;
c) during the Period of Insurance;
d) within the Geographical Limit;
Up to the Limit of Liability shown in Your Schedule. We will not pay more than the Limit of Liability shown in Your Schedule for all claims in the aggregate caused by Your Products during any one Period of Insurance.
